Go Ahead Eagles vs FCSB

Back the Dutch side to get off to the perfect start in this tournament

Go Ahead Eagles will host FCSB in the first Europa League game on Thursday afternoon.
Go Ahead Eagles have enjoyed a positive start to the season. Last year's Dutch Cup winners come into this game off back-to-back victories in the Eredivisie, in which they managed to keep clean sheets in both. GA Eagles tend to be strong at home, and they will be feeling confident of securing three points at De Adelaarshorst.
Although they were defeated by Sparta Rotterdam earlier in the campaign, they have held Ajax to a 2-2 draw at this venue, and FCSB could be in for a tough 90 minutes in Deventer.
This is the club's maiden appearance in the competition, so there ought to be a fantastic atmosphere around the place, and the players will be keen to kick things off with a victory.
They also appear to have a clean slate of injuries and suspensions with their key players available for selection, including the talented Jakob Breum, who has made an excellent start to the season.
FCSB are regulars in this competition, although they were required to come through the qualification rounds to book their place in the league phase.
They squeezed past a horrendously out-of-form Aberdeen to secure their place in the competition, drawing 2-2 at Pittodrie, despite conceding 29 shots to the hosts. They were also defeated twice on the road during the UCL qualifiers, with minnows Shkendija and Inter Club d'Escaldes knocking them out.
Their domestic form has been appalling, and they haven't won since July 19th, losing their last away match at Botosani (3-1). Furthermore, they have several players who aren't available for this fixture.
This should be a fantastic occasion for the hosts and their opponents may struggle to cope with their intensity
