That question shapes everything he builds and reviews today.

Top Tip for Readers
Odds alone don't tell the full story. Before committing to a sportsbook, check its market coverage, how fast it processes withdrawals, and whether it offers cash-out or live betting on the sports you actually follow. The best platform for one bettor isn't always the best for another, and matching features to your betting style matters more than any single headline offer.
Shahanshah answers
What do you consider a trustworthy online sportsbook?
For me it comes down to whether the platform holds up under actual use, not just its marketing. I look at how quickly a bet settles after a match ends, whether cash-out triggers when it should, and how support handles a real payout question rather than a scripted one.
What's the most important thing you do when assessing a sportsbook?
I place real bets across a few different sports and markets, then track how settlement, cash-out, and withdrawal play out end to end. A sportsbook can advertise fast payouts and still take days when you test it yourself, and that gap is what I'm looking for.
What does a good sportsbook need in terms of responsible gambling practices?
The tools need to survive contact with a real user. I've tested betting limits that were easy to bypass and self-exclusion features that didn't fully lock an account, and those failures tell you more about a platform than its terms and conditions page ever will.
