Espanyol vs Barcelona

We're expecting an entertaining contest between these two Catalonian rivals

Barcelona could clinch the La Liga title with a victory on Thursday. If Real Madrid drops points on Wednesday night, Hansi Flick’s side will be crowned champions before they step onto the pitch, however, that feels like an unlikely scenario and they will need to ensure that they don’t slip up against their local rivals.
The Blaugrana have been brilliant on the road this season, winning 71% of their matches away from home. They also have a decent record against their rivals and despite defensive injuries, they were able to showcase their attacking talents at the weekend in El Classico.
Flick’s men have taken 80+ shots across their last four La Liga matches and they are almost certainly able to fashion chances against an Espanyol outfit who have been far from defensively secure in recent weeks. Raphina has been in fantastic form and will likely play a pivotal role again.
Espanyol aren’t completely safe, but with games against Osasuna and Las Palmas to finish the season, they should collect enough points to survive. Nevertheless, they cannot afford a huge negative goal difference and should be competitive, particularly at home. The last three meetings here have ended 2-4, 2-2 and 2-2. This could be another memorable derby, particularly for those of a Barca persuasion.
