PSG vs Inter

Back these two teams to be locked after 90 minutes

The 2025 Champions League final takes place at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday night with PSG and Inter battling to win ultimate prize in club European football.
Both sides have featured in the Champions League final over the last five years without achieving success and Inter will be hoping to right the wrongs of 2023. They should also be fired up following their final day disappointment which saw them lose out on the Scudetto to Napoli despite beating Como 2-0. If they don’t succeed on Saturday, it will be filed as a disappointing season for the Nerazurri, who could finish the campaign trophyless having also missed on the SuperCoppa Italiano.
Simone Inzaghi’s side scored plenty of goals during the knock-out stages and managed to edge past Barcelona en route to this showpiece event. Despite the relative uncertainty surrounding Inzaghi’s future, Inter cannot be underestimated and should be capable of staying in the game.
In contrast, PSG have enjoyed a silverware-laden season once again. As well as clinching the Ligue 1 title, they were also successful in the French Cup at the weekend with Luis Enrique having created a winning machine. The Parisians haven’t struggled to create chances, although perhaps they could have been a little more clinical in the final third.
The French side have also suffered disappointment at this late stage of the competition when beaten 1-0 by Bayern during the COVID-hit season. They will fancy their chances of success here, but they cannot afford to take a determined Inter side lightly.
UCL finals tend to be low-scoring affairs and Inter will look to take the sting out of the game. This match could go all the way.
